💛 What to Expect
We’ll help your child feel comfortable, supported, and excited from the moment they walk in. Parents can watch from our observation area or join poolside for extra cheers. Most families tell us they can see the difference after just one lesson!
🧺 Before You Come
Registration is required for all children at Little Fins Swim School. Once you’ve signed up, we’ll send you a quick confirmation and details for your visit.
What to bring:
A Happy Nappy swim diaper (for any child not yet potty trained)
Swimsuit and towel

After your trial, our team will help you find the perfect ongoing lesson plan — whether that’s a weekly one-on-one spot, a Pod Lesson, or a plan designed for your goals.

How does a Trial Assessment Lesson work?
Please arrive early and be waiting in the pool area at the time of your scheduled appointment.
Your instructor will talk to you for approximately 1-3 minutes prior to getting in the pool to answer any questions you may have and discus your swimming goals for your child.
Please come back to the pool 2-5 minutes before the end of your 15 minute trial assessment lesson time.
Your instructor can go over what they did during their swim time together (approximately 10 minutes of assessment in pool) and talk to you about the teacher's recommendations for your child. (2-5 minutes Q&A with instructor).
*A note about goggles: at Little Fins we teach water safety and survival first. The reason we do not recommend goggles right away, is because we want your swimmer to learn to be water-safe first. “Water-safe” means being able to roll, float and find an exit strategy in case of a water emergency, without the assistance of goggles.
