By partnering with UCHealth, Little Fins Swim School is expanding access to early water safety education for new parents, reinforcing awareness before children ever enter the pool.
At just three years old, Marlee has already participated in two swim meets but her journey in the water began long before that. Growing up with summers spent at the pool and lake, her family knew early water safety was essential. After seeing the confidence and skills their son gained through swim lessons, starting Marlee as a baby was an easy decision.
What’s been most powerful isn’t just how far she’s come in the pool, but how swimming has shaped who she is outside of it. Learning to be brave in the water helped Marlee become braver in everyday life building confidence, focus, and independence. For her family, swimming has brought peace of mind and more joyful moments together, knowing their children are safe, capable, and confident around water.
Parents play an important role in building their child's comfort around water. However, at home practices are valuable, they can not replace professional swim instruction.
Little Fins Swim school is excited to partner with I Heart Mac & Cheese, a local business that shares our love for family and community. From fueling our instructors during training clinics to adding special perks to birthday parties, this partnership is making a real difference, bringing joy, connection, and support to the families we serve everyday.
Growing up around fishing and boating, water was always a part of thier family’s life, making swim lessons a non-negotiable when they welcomed thier baby. From the start, she swam with Ms. Deana and quickly developed a love for the water. Over time her confidence grew, step by step, skill by skill, proving that while progress takes patience, the results are absolutely worth it. Today, Johnnet is more confident than ever, both in and out of the pool.

Think your baby is too young for swim lessons? Think again. Discover why water safety can begin at 2 months, and how survival skills at 6 months may help protect your child when it matters most.
