Little Fins Response & Q&A to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
Q1:
Is Little Fins Open?
We are open for one-on-one lessons, by appointment. Group classes have limited class size. Reserve your space online for Aqua Babies/Tots Mommy/Daddy and Me Class. We have extended schedules and available swim times in order to maintain our precautions and social distancing protocols.
Drowning is STILL the #1 cause of death in children ages 1-4 years old in our nation, and, during the COVID-19 virus outbreak, we remain committed to water safety. Lessons are essential to drowning prevention. #NoChildDrowns
To register for lessons click here, choose your location, and register yourself and your child/dependents (aka swimmers).
Q2:
What precautions are you taking and what social distancing measures?
Precautions and Social Distancing Protocols
We ask that families help us to keep our facilities, instructors, and swimmers safe by preparing for the following changes:
Parents are not permitted in the pool during one-on-one lessons. Only the swimmer and instructor will be allowed in the pool.
We ask that the minimum number of family attend lessons. Siblings will need to sit on parents’ laps and families must stay together and remain socially distanced.
Only swimmers in a lesson will be permitted in the pool. Swimmers must exit the pool immediately following their lesson. No one will be permitted in the pool unless he/she is in a lesson. No open/free swim times are available.
Please remain 6 feet apart at all times while in our facilities. We have plenty of socially distanced seating available to prevent close contact with others.
Aqua Babies/Tots small group class have resumed with social distancing protocols in place. Please click here for specifics.
No sick/ill people will be allowed in our facilities. Please reschedule your lesson if the adult bringing the child or the child is sick/ill. There will be a $10 reschedule fee for all lessons cancelled within 24 hours, as our instructor’s time is extremely valuable and we are unable to fill schedules within 24 hours. Please give us as much notice as possible by texting or leaving a voicemail at 719-344-5328.
Q3:
What are the arrival/departure procedures?
Arrival and Departure Procedures:
If possible, arrive ready to swim. Please do not come in earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled lesson.
Swimmers must exit the pool immediately following the lesson. Please promptly speak with your instructor and remove your child from the pool, so the next swimmer can enter the pool.
Please quickly dress/change your child in the locker room following the lesson and exit promptly.
All common areas are sanitized regularly.
